Meet Dr. Stephen Rockhill
Board-Certified Podiatric Physician & Surgeon

Dr. Stephen Rockhill brings advanced training, genuine compassion, and a love for helping people get back on their feet—literally. Born and raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Dr. Rockhill grew up playing sports and staying active, a passion that eventually guided him toward his career in foot and ankle medicine.

After graduating from high school, he attended Southern Utah University, where he played collegiate baseball before serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California. There he learned Spanish and developed a lasting appreciation for Latin American culture. Following his mission, he continued his education at Brigham Young University. While attending BYU he coached baseball at Pleasant Grove High School which led him to meet and marry his wife, McKinsey.

Dr. Rockhill went on to earn his medical degree from Des Moines University’s College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He then completed an intensive podiatric reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgical residency at the Franciscan Foot and Ankle Institute in Washington. During this advanced training, he learned from world-renowned orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists, gaining expertise in everything from complex deformity correction to minimally invasive surgical techniques.
His education didn’t stop there—Dr. Rockhill completed the BAKO Dermatopathology fellowship in Georgia and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. He has also presented at multiple national foot and ankle conferences.

As a former athlete, Dr. Rockhill has a special interest in treating sports-related injuries for patients of all ages. Some of his favorite conditions to treat include bunions, ankle fractures, sprains and instability, Achilles injuries, and end-stage ankle arthritis.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Rockhill enjoys just about anything active or outdoors—baseball, basketball, football, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and cheering on his alma mater, BYU (Go Cougs!). He and his wife, McKinsey, are proud parents to three kids, Maverik, Oakley and Lettie who keep them busy and laughing.

Dr. Rockhill believes healthcare works best as a team effort. His goal is to empower every patient with clear, thorough education so together they can create the best treatment plan for long-term success.
